Well camping in the Karoo was quite nice. After finally getting there, being stuck in traffic and all and nearly taking us twice as long to get there with an overfull 'bakkie' (stuffed with liquour and people).. On our way watched a beautiful sunset and the moon was close enough to touch, saw jackal like animals and rabbits hopping about on the road and then just before midnight with Hamish's mom getting worried and no cellphone reception out there we finally made it there safely! Time to have a beer..
Next days watching the guys play cricket and we all going for a swim and canoeing and rowing and sunbathing/burning.. It was very nice, and of course drinking and 'braaiing' can not be forgotten. Leaving we thought we'd leave a bit earlier just in case to not reach Cape Town at midnight, 6 hours squished in a bakkie aint that much fun, especially when the dog, Bazel, really likes to fart! Getting back and leaving the house right away with Rene and family to go to Lorien's birthday at Clifton 4th beach for a picnic. Was very nice and delish food and a beautiful sunset scenery again..
Now I've been back at UCT trying to be useful, but that doesn't always work out as much as I'd like. But I think I'm going out on an adventure. I'm thinking of taking the Baz bus and do a hostel tour along the southern and eastern coast. Maybe go upt to Durban, maybe go further, not sure.. Seems very well organized and a lot of fun and then I get to see more of the country. But first I still need to see some more of the city, so I'll start with that and then head off I think. I might not be online as much then anymore and who knows then I might get to go diving or dune boarding or whatnot.. we shall see. So y'all enjoy the week and I'll keep ya updated on my journies. If you do get the chance to go to Durban, do yourself a favor and go just a little north of there and visit the Valley of 1000 hills! (PheZulu)You will NOT regret it!! Most of Kwazulu Natal is very beautiful.
Have fun and enjoy as much as you can.

Hier alles goed, vandaag sneeuwballen gegooid, koud maar oh zooo mooi, kan ik me alvast gaan voorbereiden op de wintersport, ga morgen naar OG/ Intwine concert-cd release, en zaterdag ga ik weer eens M. verleiden, so far so good haha :-)
