Back again in the Cape..

Why hello there,..

Here I am again. Back in the Cape. Safe and sound and with hardly a scratch (except from breaking open crayfish for a lovely meal and tripping over guano piles and ripping a toe nail and incapacitating my baby toe). For the rest yeah, in one piece..
Got back yesterday from Malgas after spending 2,5 weeks there sitting on guano and looking at birdies. Lovely island, very beuatiful and a damn lot of birds, but all comes to an end and it might have been my last encounter with the Cape gannet as my vacation I guess kind of starts now. I might return to Malgas again with someone from the Marine Conservation Management of the area and that would eb for a week and that would be in about 2(,5) weeks from now, but for the rest yeah.. Supervisor will be leaving to Namibia again and I guess I'm not going with, I'd have to change my ticket and they are going for about 5 weeks or so. I don't know.. Do wanna see the country a little of course. I did get in contact with friends from "Home", St. Maarten that is, for some of you might know them.. Hamish and Andrew and so we went out beer drinking by a friend of his last night with his chick and more friends, so now I get to mingle with the locals! Haha.. Funny reminiscing bout good ole times. Very weird, but lotsa fun! Now back at UCT, gonna load my stories online so you can read them. They are quite long so yeah see if ya wanna read my adventures and yeah see if I can load my thousands of pix for you to see. It's been lovely so far, pity things didn't really turn out the way they were planned with the whole research, but okay, that's nature and theres ot much you can do about it.
I'm staying by Rene and his family again for now, Anette is a great cook and his daughter is lovely. So it's a nice place to stay, I'm gonna see about travelling about since yeah, a girl on her own in a big country and yeah, you know how it goes. But I might go along with Hamish and family camping this weekend and see what I can all do in my itty bitty self, so you will be kept up to date on my adventures. So far, enjoy my posts and I love y'all for keeping in contact. It's so nice to keep getting texts adn calls form muh lovely friedns and fam. Much love and don't be too jealous of my farmer tan!
